Committees are open to all students and can be joined by any student at any time during the year. Click here to see a list of dates that the committees will be meeting during this semester. When you visit a committee for the first time, make sure that the secretary of that committee takes down your name and lists you as being in attendance. Then, once you attend a committee for the second time you will counted as a member of that committee and have full voting rights.
The descriptions of what the committees do are somewhat technical, and don’t necessarily give a good impression of what each committee is like. If you are thinking about joining a committee, don’t be afraid to stop in on a few and try to get a feel for the room and whether or not you’d like to stay and become a member of that committee.
